Baseball
A sport I hesitated to shoot at first as I was never too much of a baseball fan and thought I’d get boring work but I’m glad to say I was sorely mistaken. Baseball’s slow paced game allows for so much creativity as a photographer, slow shutter and multi-exposure work comes so much easier when shooting a pitcher as you get almost 100 chances to get the shot you want since that’s how much an average pitcher throws per game. capturing contact on the bat and baserunning can also create some really clean looks. I’ve worked with my high school team and a summer ball team and recently worked with MILB team the Daytona Beach Tortugas. Baseball went from a sport I wasn’t sure on shooting to becoming one of my favorites to capture.
