THE MAN BEHIND THE CAMERA
I’m Jayden Blythe, a New Smyrna Beach based sports photographer with a passion for capturing the moments, imagery and love we all associate with sports. In high school, I worked with the NSB High School Yearbook with a lot of my work being pictured on the Wrestling, Baseball and Women’s Flag Football Pages. I’ve worked with both Atomic Legacy Wrestling (ALW) and Daytona Tortugas MILB Team. I currently work with UPSL Team Current FC. a lot of my work being pictured on the Wrestling, Baseball and Women’s Flag Football Pages. In High school I did work in the following sports, Football, Flag Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Track and Field, Baseball, Softball, Wrestling, Weightlifting, and soccer.
I’m currently furthuring my craft at Daytona State College, where I study photography and continue building my professional portfolio.
My journey into photography began with a creative twist—I spent two years shooting toy photography, developing a deep appreciation for lighting, composition, and storytelling. That foundation naturally evolved into covering live sports, where I found my passion for freezing raw, authentic moments in time. As a huge sports fan all my life… it always came easy.
